Akin is a passionate Data Scientist and Business Intelligence consultant who helps businesses and government agencies derive values and generate core actionable insights from data. He enjoys using data and technologies to provide efficient and reliable Analytics and Business Intelligence solutions to clients. Over the years, Akin has worked for businesses and institutions in New Zealand and the United States. He received his PhD from the University of Canterbury developing econometrics models, simulations and implementing machine learning algorithms for solving economic and business issues. Akin has rich expertise in data cleaning, data analysis, data modelling, data migration, data integration (ETL), ERP configuration, machine learning, reporting and visualisation, data flow mapping, business flow analysis and requirement gathering.
